2013 Happy New Year

6 Week Series Allergy-free Series January 8-February 19 6pm-8:30pm * No Class on January 12th 

Eat Great and shed those extra pounds you gained over the holidays without being deprived. Learn to cook and enjoy nutrient dense foods with gourmet taste! You will learn kitchen techniques, how to season and make many recipes from appetizers-dessert and beverages! We will enjoy the food we prepare all together at the end of class!

February:

St.Valentine Chocolate Class Wed. Feb 13, 6pm-8:30pm

A variety of chocolate candy and chocolate desserts! We will make Coffee Toffee covered in Chocolate, Chocolate Truffles, Crunchy Chocolate Candy and mini Molten Chocolate Cakes! You will be in chocolate heaven! This is even better than Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory! Bring containers to take home some candy to enjoy!

Fondue Cooking Class Wed. Feb. 27, 6pm-8:30pm

Dairy-free Cheeze Fondue & Chocolate Fondues & Mac-n-Cheeze will be made and enjoyed with an array of goodies to dip into them! YUM! This will be a very fun and festive class and great class to bring friends or a “date”! ;)

March:

14th-April 18th Cooking Around the World, Gluten-free, Dairy-free and Low Glycemic 6 Week Series: We will cook from a different ethnic cuisine every week including: France, Italy, Spain, Mexico and more!

Gluten & Allergy Free Easter/Passover Brunch Thurs. March 27th 6pm-8:30pm Chile Cheeze Quiche, Baked Egg Souffle, Dutch Baby Pancake, Easiest Bacon Ever, Scones with Lemon Curd that are both Easter friendly and Kosher for Passover(except the Bacon)!

April:

April 1-5 Kids Camp(ages 7 yrs-13 yrs.) 11am-2pm

Kid’s will learn how to make all three meals of the day, snacks, beverages and dessert that are all delicious and nutritious! They will learn healthy alternatives to wheat, gluten, dairy and white sugar. It will be a mini culinary school experience and they will come out with a mulitiude of skills and a wealth of knowledge! Parents will be able to take the weekend off and let the kid’s cook!  We will all sit down and enjoy all the food we prepared together at the end of each class and discuss a variety of food, cooking and health topics.

April 14th 2pm-4:30pm Raw Dessert Class

Have you had raw desserts? You are in for a delicious and nutritious treat; and you will save lots of money making them at home. Learn how to use really healthy ingredients including low glycemic sweeteners. All recipes will be vegan, raw, gluten-free and so delicious you will never miss a thing! We will be making a Super Creamy Raw Pie, Raw Cheesecake and Superfood Truffles.

Italian Cooking  Thurs. April 25th 6pm-8:30pm

This class will transport you to Italy without the jet lag! We will make and enjoy Gnocchi with Pesto & Marinara, Baked Stuffed Shells and Tiramisu!

May:

May 15th 6pm-8:30pm Raw Thai Class

We will make Raw Pad Thai with a super tasty sauce, Thai Coconut Soup and Ice Cream! This is a great way to get lots of veggies, protein and super-foods into your diet that will keep you feeling great! All recipes will be vegan, raw, gluten-free and so delicious you will never miss a thing!

Memorial Day & Picnic Recipes Thurs. May 23 6pm-8:30pm

Learn to make fun, delicious recipes and dishes that are travel friendly!

June:

June 17th-21 Kids Camp  11am-2pm

Kid’s will learn how to make all three meals of the day, snacks, beverages and dessert that are all delicious and nutritious! They will learn healthy alternatives to wheat, gluten, dairy and white sugar. It will be a mini culinary school experience and they will come out with a multitude of skills and a wealth of knowledge! Summer Party Meals Made Quick & Easy Thurs June 27th 6pm-8:30pm

July:

 July 3rd 6pm-8:30pm Raw Snacks and Appetizers

Just want a healthy snack and some simple recipes that will taste really satisfying and give you plenty of energy? Come learn to make protein packed cheeze, crackers, sushi rolls and chocolate bites that you can enjoy as an appetizer, snack or light meal and a dessert! These are great for entertaining and grab and go food you can take with you to the beach or on a trip.  All recipes will be vegan, raw, gluten-free and so delicious you will never miss a thing!

Kid’s Camp Monday, July 8th-July12, 11am-2pm

Kid’s will learn how to make all three meals of the day, snacks, beverages and dessert that are all delicious and nutritious! They will learn healthy alternatives to wheat, gluten, dairy and white sugar. It will be a mini culinary school experience and they will come out with a multitude of skills and a wealth of knowledge! Parents will be able to take the weekend off and let the kid’s cook!  We will all sit down and enjoy all the food we prepared together at the end of each class and discuss a variety of food, cooking and health topics.

Teen Camp Monday, July 22nd-26th,  11am-2pm

Teen’s will learn how to make all three meals of the day, snacks, beverages and dessert that are all delicious and nutritious! They will learn healthy alternatives to wheat, gluten, dairy and white sugar. It will be a mini culinary school experience and they will come out with a multitude of skills and a wealth of knowledge that will prepare them for moving away! Parents will be able to take the weekend off and let the kid’s cook!  We will all sit down and enjoy all the food we prepared together at the end of each class and discuss a variety of food, cooking and health topics.

Dairy Free Ice Cream & Sorbet Making Class Thurs July 25 6pm-8:30pm

Who doesn’t love Ice Cream? This is especially good for people who love ice cream, but need a  delicious dairy-free and egg-free option! Vegan Friendly class! Don’t have an ice cream machine? No Problem, you can use a food processor! We will learn to use an ice cream machine, gelato machine and a food processor to make super tasty frozen treats!  No matter what your favorite flavor is, you will love making and eating a variety of ice cream and sorbet! We will have gluten-free cones too! Kid’s and adults are welcome.

August:

Adult Class:Back to School Meals Aug. 13, 6pm-8:30pm Would you like new delicious, nutritious recipes to make for Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks or Dinner that the whole family will love? We will make a variety of recipes that you and your children will love.

September:

Soups & Stews Thurs. Sept. 19 6pm-8:30pm

Get ready for Fall and Winter with warm comforting dishes that will save you time.

Gluten-free 6 Week Series for Adults Begin Thurs Sept. 26th and runs every Thurs for 6 weeks 6pm-8:30pm

This is a great class for people who have been on a gluten free diet and want a healthier way of cooking and eating, and especially good for those that have been newly diagnosed and are perplexed and overwhelmed at how to change their diet without feeling deprived! We will cover all 3 meals of the day, snacks, desserts and beverages. You will learn all about being gluten-free, dairy-free and refined sugar-free and a wealth of knowledge on gluten and food sensitivities/celiac disease too. We will focus on learning about healthy alternatives to gluten, dairy and refined sugar, discuss hot topics, learn cooking techniques, safety and sanitation and much more.

October:

Holiday Baking Class Tues. Oct. 22 6pm-8:30pm

Come join us in baking Pies and Tarts and more for the Holidays that everyone will love!

November:

Gluten/Dairy/Allergy Free Holidays for All Thurs. Nov. 14 6pm-8:30pm

We will prepare a stress-free, allergy-free Thanksgiving/Holiday meal with all the traditional dishes without the gluten, dairy or refined sugar that everyone will love whether they have a food sensitivity or not! Great for Celiac’s and Diabetics too!

December:

Holiday Cookie Exchange Thurs. Dec 12 6pm-8:30pm

This is the class we wait for all year long! We all bake cookies, chat and take home an array of cookies free of gluten, dairy and refined sugar! What’s not to love about that? Get your friends and family to tag along and join in on the fun!

    I saw you on the news in Chicago today. So excited that you cook gluten/dairy free. I’m making the Beef Strogonoff tonight!
